Kindergarten Workbooks: Early Math, Reading & Writing

Kindergarten Workbooks for Ages 5-6

Kindergarten is where school habits begin. Our Kindergarten workbook builds the foundations children need before Grade 1, letter sounds, counting, early writing and shapes, in short, colourful activities that feel like play rather than drills. Each page is designed for a 10-15 minute sitting, so it fits after school, at the kitchen table, or as part of a homeschool morning.

What your kindergartner will practise

  • Letter recognition and letter sounds
  • Counting, number formation and simple addition
  • Shapes, colours and patterns

Frequently asked questions

What should a kindergartner know before Grade 1?

Most children entering Grade 1 can recognise all letters and their sounds, count to at least 20, write their own name, and hold a pencil correctly. Our Kindergarten workbook covers each of these areas.

How much should a 5-year-old do each day?

Ten to fifteen minutes a day is plenty at this age. Short, consistent sessions build far more confidence than long ones.

Is this suitable for homeschooling?

Yes. The workbook is self-paced and parent-friendly, with clear instructions on every page and no special materials required.
